Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of Trigglow (the “Service”), operated by Trigglow (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Trigglow you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Trigglow provides tools for streamers to create multimedia overlays and alerts for live streaming platforms (Kick, Twitch and YouTube, with optional Discord and Spotify integrations, compatible with OBS Studio and Elgato Stream Deck), including chat commands, channel points, and paid viewer unlocks.
The live overlay connects to OBS via private Browser Source URLs using real-time WebSockets.
2. Eligibility & Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use Trigglow.
You are responsible for safeguarding login credentials, streaming OAuth tokens, and private overlay URLs (https://www.trigglow.com/overlay/{overlaySlug}). Anyone with your overlay URL can view or trigger alerts on that source.
3. Integrations (Kick, Twitch, OBS Studio, Stream Deck)
Trigglow is an independent third-party tool and is not officially affiliated with Kick Streaming Pty Ltd, Twitch Interactive, Inc., Google / YouTube, Discord, Spotify, OBS Project, or Corsair Gaming / Elgato.
Alert availability depends on third-party platform APIs. You must comply with the community guidelines of your streaming platform at all times.
4. Plans, Fees & Limits
We offer three plans:
- Clean Broadcast Guarantee: Trigglow will NEVER show ads on the OBS overlay URL.
- 3, 6 or 12-month terms: the whole term is charged up front and the subscription renews automatically for the same term until you cancel it, just like monthly. You can cancel at any time from "Manage billing"; your benefits stay active until the end of the paid term. If your plan’s price changes, we will email you at least 30 days in advance and the new price only applies from your next renewal after that notice.
- Partner accounts are granted discretionally by administration with Pro benefits.
- Taxes: displayed prices include the Value Added Tax (VAT) applicable in Spain or the corresponding indirect tax based on the user’s tax residence, unless expressly stated otherwise.
| Plan | Price | Slots per Type | Dashboard Ads | OBS Live Overlay |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | €0 | 10 slots (image, video, sound, text) | Bottom banner ads | No ads (clean overlay) |
| Starter | €5.99 / mo · 3 months €15.99 · 6 months €29.99 · 12 months €54.00 | Unlimited | No ads | No ads |
| Pro | €14.99 / mo · 3 months €39.99 · 6 months €74.99 · 12 months €135.00 | Unlimited | No ads | No ads |
5. Subscriptions, Cancellations & EU Withdrawal
Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time from Profile (/app/profile) via the Stripe Customer Portal.
Upon cancellation, premium access remains until the end of the current paid billing cycle, after which the account reverts to the Free plan.
EU Right of Withdrawal: Under Directive 2011/83/EU and Article 103 of Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, the 14-day withdrawal right lapses once performance of the service or supply of digital content has begun, provided you gave your prior express consent and acknowledged the loss of that right when starting the subscription. We send the contract confirmation on a durable medium (email).
6. Voluntary Support Contributions (Tip Jar)
Voluntary financial contributions (tips) made to Trigglow through the platform are voluntary payments supporting the maintenance and development of the Service, with no direct consideration of additional services or goods. They count as platform income and are subject to the invoicing and taxation required by law.
Trigglow does not add platform fees on these contributions (only payment processor fees apply). They are non-refundable except for verified technical errors.
7. Paid Alerts Marketplace & Viewer Payments
Viewers can pay to trigger alerts or TTS on stream. Trigglow retains a platform fee on each payment that depends on your plan and is shown when you set it up (currently 5 % on Free, 2 % on Starter and 0 % on Pro), plus the Stripe processing cost.
Streamers must complete Stripe Connect onboarding and KYC verification before paid checkout is enabled.
Trigglow acts solely as a technical intermediary: it does not provide payment services or hold funds in custody. Payments and payouts are executed directly through Stripe Connect under Stripe’s own terms. Disputes and chargebacks: if a viewer requests a refund or files a bank chargeback on a marketplace payment, the amounts claimed and the associated bank or processing fees are borne entirely by the receiving creator, who authorizes Trigglow and Stripe to deduct them from their account balance. Creators are solely responsible for their tax and invoicing obligations on income received through the platform, and agree to provide the information required by tax-transparency rules such as Directive (EU) 2021/514 (DAC7).
8. User Content & Technical License
You retain all intellectual property rights to your uploaded media. You grant Trigglow a non-exclusive technical license to host, process, and display your alerts on your OBS overlay.
You represent and warrant that you hold all licenses, copyrights and permissions for the files you upload (including third-party music, video and images), and agree to hold Trigglow harmless from claims by rights holders or collecting societies arising from that content.
For your viewers’ personal data shown or processed in your overlays and chats, you act as controller and Trigglow as processor, and these Terms together with the Privacy Policy (section 13) constitute the data processing agreement under GDPR Art. 28.
9. Acceptable Use, Notice & Takedown, and Suspension
Illegal content (CSAM, hate speech, violent extremism), spam, malware in SVGs, multi-account slot limit evasion, and payment fraud are strictly forbidden and cause immediate account termination.
If you believe content hosted on Trigglow is unlawful or infringes intellectual property rights, report it to dmca@trigglow.com (or abuse@trigglow.com for other unlawful content) following the procedure in the Copyright & DMCA Policy. We act diligently to remove unlawful content, in line with Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act).
10. Changes, Limitation of Liability & Governing Law
The Service is provided “AS IS”. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Trigglow is not liable for lost profits, lost revenue or penalties imposed by third-party platforms. For users acting in a professional or business capacity, Trigglow’s total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you actually paid in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim. This does not limit liability where mandatory consumer-protection law prohibits such a limitation.
We will notify users of any material change to these Terms at least 15 days before it takes effect, via the platform or email. If you disagree with the new terms, you may cancel your subscription without penalty before they take effect.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain and the European Union, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Spain, without prejudice to mandatory consumer venue rules.
In accordance with applicable consumer law, consumers are informed of their right to use out-of-court dispute resolution mechanisms, such as consumer arbitration boards.

Inquiries: contact@trigglow.com. Support tickets: /app/support.
12. Cookies & Advertising
We use a strictly necessary session cookie/identifier to keep you signed in — under EU ePrivacy rules, this does not require consent.
On the Free plan dashboard we may show an advertising banner served by our advertising partner, Adsterra. It only loads, and only sets its cookies, after you explicitly accept it — you will first see a consent prompt on that banner. If you decline (or do not decide), you will instead see a Trigglow house banner, which sets no third-party cookies.
You can review or change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy. Adsterra explains its own advertising cookie usage at https://adsterra.com/privacy-policy-managed.
