Marketplace & Paid Alerts Policy
These conditions govern the economic structure, payment intermediation, and the rights and obligations between viewers, creators and Trigglow for viewer payments (paid alerts, unlocks, store and memberships) through Stripe Connect.
1. Nature of the Service & Three-Party Relationship
Buying digital products or memberships, or triggering alerts, is a direct contractual relationship between the viewer (buyer) and the streamer (seller and payee). The streamer sets the price, content, duration and requirements of each alert, unlock or product on their channel.
Trigglow acts solely as the technology platform provider and facilitator of electronic processing. It does not provide payment services, does not hold funds in custody and is not a party to the transaction between viewer and streamer.
For consumer-law and VAT purposes, the creator is the seller of the content and services to the viewer. They must truthfully state their status (individual or professional/business) and assume the legal guarantees and obligations that fall on them as a seller.
2. Fee, Payouts & Invoicing
For providing the technical infrastructure, Trigglow charges a service fee on the gross amount of each payment, that depends on the creator’s plan and is shown when you set it up (currently 5 % on Free, 2 % on Starter and 0 % on Pro; plain tips carry no fee). An estimate of the Stripe processing cost, borne by the creator, is also deducted. The creator receives the rest through Stripe Connect. Trigglow reserves the right to set minimum amounts per transaction to keep processing economically viable.
Trigglow’s fee is consideration for a technical intermediation service and carries the VAT that applies (21% in Spain, or reverse charge in valid intra-EU transactions). Trigglow will issue or make available the corresponding invoices to the creator.
The creator is solely responsible for declaring the income earned through the platform and for paying the direct taxes (personal income tax or corporate tax) and indirect taxes (VAT) applicable to their activity. As the creator is paid directly by the viewer, Trigglow does not act as a withholding agent for personal income tax.
3. Identity Verification (KYC) & Tax Transparency (DAC7)
To enable viewer payments, the creator must be over 18 and complete the identity (KYC), bank ownership and tax verification required by Stripe Connect. Until Stripe validates the account, payments stay blocked.
In compliance with Directive (EU) 2021/514 (DAC7) and national administrative cooperation rules on taxation (Spanish Form 238), the creator agrees that Trigglow collects their identification, tax and payout data and reports it annually to the tax authority when the applicable legal thresholds are met.
4. Delivery, Refunds & Chargebacks
A paid alert is deemed delivered when Trigglow’s servers successfully send the signal to the stream’s overlay. Final on-screen visibility and volume depend exclusively on the streamer’s control: no refund is due if the creator mutes, pauses, skips or vetoes the alert in the exercise of their editorial moderation.
If a paid alert is not shown due to a Trigglow technical failure, the viewer is refunded in full, Trigglow’s accrued service fee is cancelled and the corresponding transfer of funds to the creator is reversed.
Disputes and chargebacks: if a viewer files a bank dispute or chargeback, the receiving creator bears the full amount claimed and the associated processing fees, and authorizes Trigglow and Stripe to deduct them from pending payouts or charge them to their linked Stripe Connect account.
5. Editorial Moderation & Content Responsibility
The streamer is solely editorially responsible for the content, audio, text and images they allow to air on their stream. Trigglow may block, automatically or as a precaution, any alert that breaches the Acceptable Use Policy or the law, without giving rise to compensation or refund of fees already accrued.
