Refund & Cancellation Policy
Rules governing subscription cancellations, purchases, refunds, Stripe billing, chargebacks, and EU statutory consumer rights, under Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (TRLGDCU) and the EU directives on consumer rights and digital content and services.
1. Cancelling Starter and Pro
You can cancel your Starter or Pro subscription at any time, without penalty, from your profile (/app/profile) through the Stripe customer portal.
After cancelling you keep the plan’s slots and benefits until the last day of the monthly cycle you already paid. No further charges are made and the account reverts to the Free plan; resources above its limits are disabled without losing your basic configuration.
2. EU Right of Withdrawal for Digital Services
Under Article 103.m of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 and Directive 2011/83/EU, the 14-day withdrawal right does not apply to digital service subscriptions whose performance begins immediately after payment is confirmed, provided you gave your prior express consent and acknowledged the loss of that right when purchasing, with the corresponding confirmation sent by email.
3. Viewer Paid Alerts & Instant Services
Payments by viewers on public pages (Trigglow Link) to trigger multimedia alerts or voice messages (TTS) on a stream are instantly performed digital services.
Once the alert has been processed and sent to the stream’s overlay, the service is fully performed and the amount is non-refundable, except for a verifiable technical failure on Trigglow’s servers that actually prevented the event from being shown. In that case the full amount is refunded.
4. Store Purchases
The store offers digital content (files, add-ons, usage licenses and memberships) and does not sell physical goods. It is sold by the creator, not by Trigglow: the creator is responsible for the content’s conformity and Trigglow acts as technical facilitator and mediator. Delivery is immediate after payment, so, with your prior express consent, acknowledgment of the loss of the right and confirmation sent by email, the 14-day withdrawal right does not apply once the download or activation has started (Art. 103.m TRLGDCU).
If the product is not in conformity (it does not work, is not delivered or is not as described), you can ask for repair, a price reduction or a refund under the statutory guarantee for digital content and services. To do so, open an issue in your order thread. The creator has 7 calendar days to reply or accept the refund; if they do not reply in that time or the matter persists, Trigglow will step in as mediator to resolve it.
Memberships can be cancelled at any time from your profile to avoid future renewals. Refunding a membership fee immediately revokes access to the associated benefits and cancels automatic renewal.
5. Justified Refund Cases
We issue full or proportional refunds in documented cases of:
- Duplicate charges caused by technical issues in the Stripe payment gateway.
- Manifest billing errors reported to contact@trigglow.com within 14 calendar days of the charge.
- Serious and continued unavailability of the Service attributable solely to Trigglow that prevents its use for more than 48 accumulated hours in a single billing cycle, entitling you to a refund of the proportional part of the affected monthly fee.
6. Refund Processing & Timing
Approved refunds are paid back to the original payment method through Stripe. The time until the amount shows in your account depends on your bank and is usually 5 to 10 business days.
7. Payments Declined by Stripe
If your bank declines a payment, Stripe runs automatic retries and a 3-calendar-day grace period is offered to update your payment details before the subscription is cancelled and the account moves to the Free plan.
8. Bank Disputes & Chargebacks
If you spot a discrepancy in a charge, please contact support first (contact@trigglow.com) to resolve it. Filing unfounded or bad-faith disputes or chargebacks entitles Trigglow to suspend the associated account as a precaution while the matter is resolved, and to provide Stripe and the issuing bank with the technical and access records showing the service was properly delivered. This does not limit your right to dispute an unrecognized charge with your bank.
