TrigglowBot (Discord)
Install TrigglowBot on your own Discord server for stream-live alerts and role-based moderation.
TrigglowBot is a separate, optional bot you install on your own Discord server — it never touches your Kick/Twitch chat bot, which stays configured under Trigglow Bot.
Once installed, the bot posts an embed in a channel you choose the moment you go live on Kick or Twitch, welcomes (and says goodbye to) members automatically, and gives you slash-command moderation plus spam/link/invite filters that reuse your Trigglow Banned Words list.
Steps
- 1Go to Settings → Connections → Discord (or open the public /discord page) and click "Add server".
- 2Pick the Discord server you want to install the bot on and approve the requested permissions on Discord's own screen.
- 3Back in Trigglow, open the linked server's card under Connections → Discord and choose an announcement channel.
- 4Turn on "Notify when live" (and optionally "Notify when the stream ends"), pick a role to mention, and customize the message if you want.
- 5Under "Welcome & Goodbye", turn on a message for new members (with an optional auto-assigned role) and/or members who leave.
- 6Under "Reaction Roles", add a panel: pick a channel, list emoji → role pairs, and the bot posts (and keeps updated) a message members react to for a self-assigned role.
- 7Under "Custom Commands", set a prefix and add commands with $(sender), $(v1)…$(v9), $(random), $(count) and more — the same variable style as the Kick/Twitch chatbot, trimmed to what makes sense in Discord.
- 8Enable the spam/link/invite filters and map any Discord roles that should count as a Trigglow moderator, then use /warn /mute /kick /ban /purge from Discord.
Note
The bot never posts using your personal Discord account — everything goes out from the TrigglowBot bot user, so your own messages are never touched.
Note
Notifications, Welcome & Goodbye, Reaction Roles, Custom Commands, slash-command moderation and message filters work on every plan; paid plans raise how many streamers you can watch and level roles you can reward.
Tip
Removing the bot from Discord (or clicking Remove in Trigglow) stops notifications immediately — nothing keeps running in the background.
