How to add Twitch alerts

Alerts are what make a follow or a sub land on stream. Connect Twitch to Trigglow, choose how each event looks and show it in OBS with a single browser source.

Step by step

  1. 1

Create your account and connect Twitch

Sign up for free and log in with Twitch from the dashboard so Trigglow receives your channel events.

  2. 2

    Set up each alert type

Follows, subs (with per-tier variants), gifted subs, bits and raids each get their own alert. Start from an animated template or upload your own GIFs, WebMs and sounds.

  3. 3

    Add the overlay to OBS

Copy your overlay URL from the dashboard and paste it into OBS as a 1920×1080 "Browser" source. One source covers every alert and platform, nothing to install.

  4. 4

    Test before going live

Use "Test" to fire any alert on your overlay and tune its size and volume in OBS.

What's included

  • Alerts for follows, subs, gifted subs, bits and raids.
  • Twitch channel point redeems with sounds and memes.
  • Text-to-speech for the viewer's message.
  • The same overlay works if you also stream on Kick or YouTube.

FAQ

Do gifted subs and bits share one alert?
No, each has its own alert so you can give them a different look and sound.
Can I bring the alerts I already have in another tool?
Yes. Paste your current alert box widget URL and Trigglow imports your alerts with their images and sounds. You can also import your chat bot commands and timers.
Is it free?
Yes, there is a free plan with no card required. Paid plans lift limits and lower the fee on paid alerts; see the Pricing page for details.
