Twitch alerts
Twitch alerts are the animations and sounds that appear on your stream when a viewer supports you: follows, subs, resubs, gifted subs, bits and raids. Trigglow listens to your Twitch channel, picks the alert that matches each event and plays it centred on your OBS scene, with your own media, text and text-to-speech.
Every Twitch event, its own alert
Each type of event has a separate alert, so a big moment never looks like a small one. Variations let one event change with the amount, the number of months, the platform or a first-time supporter.
- Follows
- Subs and resubs
- Gifted subs
- Bits
- Raids
- Channel point redeems
Animated Twitch alert templates
Start from built-in animated templates or upload your own GIFs, PNGs, transparent WebM videos and sounds. Change the text, colours, size and duration of each alert, and read the viewer's message out loud with text-to-speech.
Twitch channel points and paid alerts
Twitch channel point rewards created from Trigglow fire their own sound, meme or video, and paid alerts let viewers fire a specific alert with a message.
- Rewards created from Trigglow
- Cooldowns, schedules and daily caps
- Viewer text on screen
How to set it up
- 1
Connect Twitch
Create a free account and connect your Twitch channel from the dashboard. Trigglow starts receiving your events right away.
- 2
Pick a style for each alert
Choose a template or upload your media for each event, then adjust text, sound and duration.
- 3
Add the overlay to OBS
Copy the overlay URL from the dashboard and paste it into OBS as a 1920×1080 Browser Source. Alerts from every connected platform play through that one source; nothing to install.
- 4
Fire a test alert
Press Test on any alert and check it in OBS before you go live.
FAQ
- Do gifted subs and bits share an alert?
- No. Gifted subs and bits always have separate alerts, so you can give each its own style and sound.
- Can I bring the alerts I already have?
- Yes. Paste the OBS URL of your current alert box and Trigglow imports the alerts with their images and sounds. Chat bot commands and timers can be imported too.
- Is it free?
- Yes. There is a free plan with no card required. Paid plans lift the limits and lower the fee on paid alerts; the Pricing page has the current details.
